Dansk Sprogskole is the data controller for all personal data processed in connection with language training, course participation, job matching, and communication via our platforms (website, Thinkific, and SmartJobBoard).
3. Types of Data We Process
We only process data necessary to provide our services, including:
- Name, contact details, and nationality
- CPR number (only when required by a collaborating authority)
- Information on Danish language skills, education, and employment
- Information from job centers or employers related to training or job matching
- Technical data (cookies, IP address, login and usage statistics from Thinkific and SmartJobBoard)

- administer and deliver training and course activities
- connect job seekers with employers
- communicate with students, partners, and authorities
- comply with legal obligations for reporting and documentation

- Article 6(1)(b) – Contract performance
- Article 6(1)(c) – Legal obligation
5. Consent
Where processing is based on consent, it is collected explicitly – for example, through sign-up forms or Thinkific registration.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of previous processing.
6. Storage and Deletion
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary or required by law.
- Course data is deleted after 5 years
- Job matching data is deleted after 2 years or upon written request
- Accounting data is stored for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act §12
7. Disclosure and Data Processors
We only share data with:
- collaborating job centers and municipalities when required for training or employment purposes
- employers participating in approved collaborations
- system providers (Thinkific, SmartJobBoard, Google Workspace, etc.) acting as processors under written agreements
Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. Thinkific in Canada, SmartJobBoard in the USA). Transfers are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
We never sell personal data to third parties.

You have the right to:

- request deletion (Article 17)
- restrict processing (Article 18)
- receive data in a readable format (Article 20)
