Dansk Sprogskole is a free online Danish language school with real Danish teachers.

You can learn Danish from anywhere in the world – even if you do not live in Denmark yet.
Many of our students are preparing for a future in Denmark. Others already live here and want to strengthen their language skills to move forward in life, work, and education.

You can start without a word of Danish – and end with language skills, a Danish CV, job opportunities, and access to education in Denmark.

Dansk Sprogskole connects these two worlds.

We are a free, voluntary, and non-political initiative.
We help bilingual individuals – both in Denmark and internationally – to learn Danish, understand the Danish system, and become ready for work and education.

Our head office is located in Rødding, Southern Jutland, an area with more than 150 years of tradition for enlightenment, community, and human development.
That tradition of openness, learning, and helping people forward is the foundation of everything we do.

1) Language – learn Danish for free, at your own pace

At Dansk Sprogskole, you can learn Danish from beginner level through:

  • Short and pedagogical videos
  • Animations that make Danish easier to understand
  • Live online lessons with real Danish teachers
  • A supportive community where people help each other

You get:

  • 100% free and voluntary participation
  • Online learning – from anywhere in the world
  • Beginner levels from A0 to A2
  • Focus on both everyday Danish and job-oriented Danish


Our role in Danish language learning

Dansk Sprogskole provides voluntary and free Danish language training at A0–A2 level as preparation for FVU (Preparatory Adult Education).

If you do not yet have a CPR number, we can support your language journey further towards B-level while you live abroad.

When you reach A2 and live in Denmark, the official system takes over:

All screening, assessment, and instruction in:

  • FVU Start
  • FVU Levels 1–4
  • AVU
  • HF

is carried out exclusively by HF & VUC, in full compliance with Danish law.

Our role is preparatory, supportive, and voluntary.
We never exercise authority or official assessment.

Our teachers

At Dansk Sprogskole, you will meet Danish teachers such as Nina, Marie, and Peter – all educated with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.

They teach in our voluntary online beginner courses and help prepare you for the next step in the official education system.

2) Integration – we help you with the first steps

Moving to a new country is a big decision.
We make the transition easier, safer, and more human.

We support you with:

  • Online communities and study groups
  • Language practice and guidance
  • Practical and technical support
  • Preparation for life in Denmark
  • Guidance on CPR, A-kasse, insurance, housing, and first steps


When you are ready, we help create a safe bridge to HF & VUC.

3) Job & Career – CV, jobs, and visibility

When your Danish starts to grow, so should your opportunities.

Through Danskcv.dk and Danskjob.dk, we help you become visible to Danish companies.

You get access to:

  • A job portal used by Danish employers
  • A network of companies looking for labour
  • The chance to be discovered early – even while you are still learning Danish

  • Touch Move: recruitment, onboarding, digital platform, voluntary preparation, support and community
  • HF & VUC: screening, assessment, and all official instruction under FVU, AVU, and HF


This structure ensures transparency, legality, and trust – for students, partners, and authorities.
